Low Temperature Applied Products

This is a water-based hydraulic control fluid specially designed for surface and closed loop/return loop blowout preventer (BOP) control system. It can be used both on land and in sea offshore jack-ups and drilling platform.
The control fuild is biodegradable, an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional oil-based fluid. They have excellent properties, and configured according to different conditions and ambient temperature, adding water or other additives are not necessary.

Storage

System Liquid Series products should be stored in a dry environment, preferably out of direct sunlight. Typical storage temperature is 5°C to 40°C.

Material Compatibility

DONGSU 680X series products contain performance additives that are highly compatible with materials commonly used in closed-loop blowout preventer (BOP) control systems.

Ferrous metals (cast iron, carbon steel, low & high alloy steels, stainless steel)	Compatible
Non-ferrous metals (copper, brass, bronze, and other metals and alloys)	Compatible with alloys typically used in subsea production control equipment. Avoid Zn, Cd, Pb and Mg metals. Aluminum should be hard anodized.
Coatings and ceramic materials	Avoid porous coatings. Compatible with most ceramic parts.
Packaging & sealing materials	Compatible with standard NBR, HNBR, FFKM, VMQ/FMVQ, CR, TFE/PTFE, PEEK. Some FKM & AU/EU/PU have proven to be incompatible.
Umbilical hose liner thermoplastics	Compatible with Nylon 11, PE and Polyether ester copolymers
Filter elements	Polypropylene and glass fiber filter elements recommended over paper filters
